About Fractal Water
Fractal Water LLC is a Connecticut-based manufacturer of vortex magnetic water treatment systems. We design, manufacture, and ship chemical-free water conditioning technology to homeowners, farmers, greenhouse operators, and commercial facilities across the United States and internationally.
The Origin of the Imploder
The Fractal Water Imploder was born from the work of Dan Winter, a physicist, author, and researcher who has spent decades studying the relationship between sacred geometry, golden-ratio mathematics, and the physics of living systems. Winter’s research into phase conjugation and centripetal force led directly to the engineering principles behind every Fractal Water device.
Winter’s work builds upon the pioneering implosion research of Austrian naturalist Viktor Schauberger (1885–1958), who observed that water in nature moves in spiraling, centripetal patterns — not the straight, pressurized flows imposed by modern plumbing. Schauberger documented how natural vortex motion keeps water energized, oxygenated, and biologically active. He spent his life advocating for technologies that work with nature’s centripetal forces rather than against them.
Dan Winter took Schauberger’s implosion principles and translated them into precise mathematical engineering. By mapping the golden ratio (1:1.618) into three-dimensional flow geometry, Winter created a nozzle design that produces a measurably perfect vortex — turning Schauberger’s dream of practical implosion technology into a manufactured reality.

From Flow Forms to the Imploder

During the 1980s, Dan Winter began developing golden-ratio flow forms at his Crystal Hill Farm research facility. These early prototypes explored how water behaves when guided through geometries based on the same mathematical proportions found in nautilus shells, sunflower seed patterns, and galaxy spirals.
Winter discovered that a seven-fold golden-mean spiral, when compressed into a conical form with five converging channels, creates a centripetal vortex of extraordinary coherence. Each channel follows a precise golden-ratio spline on a 60-degree cone, and when all five streams converge at the output, they produce a unified vortex with measurable effects on water structure.
This design became the heart of the Fractal Water Imploder — a precision-engineered nozzle that replicates nature’s most efficient spiral geometry to restructure water at the molecular level.

The Imploder Today
Dan Winter partnered with Jason Matozzo to bring the Imploder technology to market as Fractal Water LLC, refining the original flow form research into manufactured products for residential, agricultural, and commercial water treatment.
In early 2024 Fractal Water entered into a strategic manufacturing partnership with Mr. David Elliott, made possible through an investment made from his Family Office, D.R. Elliott & Company, LLC (DRECo) located in Southington CT. DRECo made a substantial capital investment in Fractal Water to support and accelerate the commercialization of the Product Line through a series of events to include expansion of its Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing capabilities as well as a buildup of Inventory to bring the imploder technology to a broader global market.
Elliott, a seasoned manufacturer, and IMD Yale School of Management Program Graduate has deep roots in the Connecticut manufacturing sector with various current holdings and companies dating back over 3 decades. The partnership brings significant operational and manufacturing expertise to the entire Ownership and Team.
Today’s Fractal Water product line combines Winter’s golden-ratio vortex nozzle with a powerful neodymium magnetic array — creating a two-stage treatment system that no competitor offers. The vortex stage restructures water molecules through centripetal motion, and the magnetic stage converts mineral crystals from hard calcite to soft aragonite, preventing scale buildup throughout your plumbing system.
From the early flow form experiments at Crystal Hill Farm to the precision-manufactured Ultra Imploder installed in homes and farms worldwide, the journey of Fractal Water represents decades of research refined into a single, maintenance-free device that works with the physics of nature to deliver measurably better water.

Our Technology
Fractal Water systems combine two proven water treatment technologies in a single maintenance-free unit: golden ratio vortex structuring and high-flux-density magnetic conditioning. Together these technologies produce water that is measurably different at the molecular level — with smaller cluster sizes, improved mineral solubility, and greater bio-availability for plants, crops, and living organisms.
Our flagship products — the Ultra Imploder, Super Imploder, ReCharger, and Vortex Nozzle — serve residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial applications worldwide. The technology is based on the principle that nature’s most efficient patterns — the golden ratio, the vortex, the spiral — are also the most effective tools for energizing and structuring water.
Proven Results
We do not ask our customers to take our word for it. The effectiveness of Fractal Water technology is documented in multiple independent studies including peer-reviewed academic research, published agricultural trials, and validated field studies. Our research library contains 56 studies on magnetic and vortex water treatment, with results validated across macadamia, wheat, lettuce, cotton, corn, and hydroponic crops.
